@JThrashYT it will never be the same.. Mike is Mike, and one of the best. So if they going to search for a new drummer i just say good luck. I wont listen to it..

@felix080206 and at the same time, you have no idea what mike was going through himself, he needed a break. and the band respected that, he never said he would be gone for good

@il0v3b0ob5 his not avenged sevenfolds full time drummer his just a touring member for now. the only reason why avenged sevenfold wanted him and only him to play for ther band was coz he was the revs favorite drummer of all time.

I love Mike Portnoy and was sad to learn of his departure from DT. I wish him all the best....the man has a huge heart and is very generous live perfomer. He once handed me a drumstick at the end of a show only to have some a-hole snatch it, so Mike then hands me another one, makes sure I have it before letting go, I slid it down the front of my dress!!! I still have and covet that purple drumstick!! He is a sweetie!!!
