@th1sisnotr I dont think you understand the role of a defensive midfielder. they dont need to get goals.fergies got plenty of wingers and strikers to do that. Ok keane was more defensive however veron was a attacking midfielder and scholes was deffo attacking coz he coulnt tackle for shit. Look at Claude Makelele in my opinion, the best defensive midfeider to play in the premership. His whole 5 seasons at chelsea he only got 2 goals on over 200 games. You do need a creative midfielder tho
