@Afrikaaner11 Cool, I just uploaded a review - check it out on my channel!

@taylorhickman1 Thanx for the info. I will try that forum. I am new to the CZ game so trying to figure out a few things. Yes I would love to see a video on your custom CZ. Please show how your trigger is.

@Afrikaaner11 I bought the 75b from them so I had the work done before it was sent to me. I probably can't give you an accurate time because it all happened at once. There are a ton of knowledgeable guys at czforumsite.info who might be able to answer some questions about the custom work timeline and such. Also, I can post a video of my CZ with custom work, if you want to see it.

@taylorhickman1 I have decided I want to send my CZ SP01 Tactical to the CZCustom Shop as well. I want to have the competition hammer, and get the trigger worked. Do you send the gun to the address CZCustom has on their website? Do you need to get their FFL or anything? How long did the work take?
Afrikaaner11 (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
@taylorhickman1 The Tactical's trigger out of the box needed alot of break-in. That and with a new 15lb hammer spring it is now very light, and smooth. It could still be a little more crisp though. I agree, the Phantom is a better duty gun. The Tactical is just too heavy. I don't even like it as a home defense gun. With a Streamlight TLR1, and fully loaded it wieghed in at 52oz. But at the range the gun is excellent. It has tighter groups than even my HK P30L 9mm. And almost no recoil. Fun gun

@Afrikaaner11 Right now I own a 75 worked over by Angus at CZCustom. It had trigger work and the competition hammer installed, so now it has 3 lb trigger pull and it is extremely crisp! I love it! I no longer have the Phantom, but it definitely had some serious take. I believe the Phantom is more practical as a duty weapon or carry piece. I've heard nice things about the stock Tactical trigger, how do you like it?
Afrikaaner11 (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
How is the trigger on both of your CZs? I have the SP-01 Tactical. The trigger took alot of break-in. That and a new hammer spring. I felt a new Phantom's trigger and it felt worse than mine when it was new. Glad I have the steel frame. What do you think?

@blueorb Yes you very correct, my grip was way too loose. I have since bought the 75B, I wasnt a fan of the polymer Phantom. With the steel frame 75B I have been able to calm the recoil a ton after also making some changes to my grip.

Just a small note. You should not be having that much recoil with that gun (lack of recoil control). Look up Todd Jarrett's video's on proper grip. It will probably help you manage the recoil a little better. I own the Phantom and love it. Shoot it at all of my IDPA and Steel Challenge matches.
