"We didn't see this coming!" - Blockbuster bosses. "Does the word DUH mean anything to you?" - customers, the world, reality, etc

@MyChemicalBromance Yeah! You tell 'em!

@HindsightPOV I know where you're coming from. Being an Engineering major while working at Best Buy was an interesting experience. During my last few months (I was switching to a different school) I didn't really hold back as much. My favorite was explaining the *oh so slight* difference between frequency and decibel level to "mister audio expert." He got kind of quiet after the logarithms came out.

@AkubaneIcecold Uh, yeah, I know that. I've had lots of jobs, but customers at Blockbuster were particularly bad. The Blockbuster system was flawed and the staff were easy targets for customers to take their frustration out on. Most of the staff were either in college or college graduates, but we were treated like we were the stupidest people in the world because we worked at Blockbuster and not, say, a hospital.

@HindsightPOV Fact of life, there are plenty of asshole customers everywhere. Not just blockbuster. Sad really. I am going to miss blockbuster. Now my xbox will get virtually no use because most of the garbage released isnt worth paying 70$ for. Was nice to pay 10$, play and beat the game and then never have to see it again.
