The thing that people such as Jane needs to realize is, films aren't made as an educational tool, teaching kids the difference between right and wrong. That responsibility lies with parents, if a kid watches Kill Bill and then attempts to chop off their friends arm it's because the parent didn't tell them that dismembering limbs is wrong. It's pretty simple, don't let kids watch it if they can't distinguish the line between right and wrong, or at least watch it with them and let them know...

@Miche2pointO I haven't seen Kill Bill, except for what is on youtube. I love the scenes that I have seen. She's stupid. Twelve year olds who are going to attack someone because a movie did it, are just stupid- and it's highly unlikely. I saw Pulp Fiction when I was thirteen, and I wasn't messed up. Huh, I think I'm getting a crush on Tarantino. He is so passionate about his work, as a writer, I would hope to mirror that soon.

I don't think this woman took a remotely objective look at this film or even understands the history of cinema in general. He took a theme that's been studied since the beginning of cinema and turned it into a fun, stylized piece of work. I feel that Vol 2 was more gripping and had more artistic merit, but it was a fun movie. Nothing to over analyze here. He wanted to make a fun, stylized, and revenge flick reminiscent of the ones he watched as a kid. Simple.
