@snacklish also, when my kid sister was born i convinced my mom to name my kid sister after Aaliyah-spelling her name exactly the same. as a teen i even collected all the pictures i had of Aaliyah over the years, printed out new ones and placed them in a pictorial folder dedicated to her memory. She was one of the most prolific female r&b artist of the 90's and i was a 90's kid; she was the artist that me and my childhood best friend adored together. she was a significant part of my childhood.

@snacklish To further stand by my statements in all comments i have left that i am indeed a supporter and adoring fan of Aaliyah i will share this. my childhood best friend introduced me to her music in 1994 with the release of her hit back back forth and forth; i was 8years old. i persuaded my mom to buy her 2nd album one in a million, then later her last album and dvd. i grew up listening to her music and often begged my mother to let me be her for halloween... wait, there's more.

@snacklish Also, it is interesting that you say stop being cruel when yet, it is actually hurting my feelings that my positive comment about her being one of the prettiest women i have ever seen is being neglected due to a misinterpretation of an expression i left at the end of it.

@snacklish Ok-wait-i'm kind of confused here. i politely explained as best i could that i was not laughing at her, because you're right that is cruel, but i explained that i instead was supporting my statement w/ an expression of happiness. i even corrected my expression at the end of my comment that you initially replied to so there wld be no further confusion and it would be that much more clear that i meant what i said in the most positive way-showing admiration of Aaliyah not disrespect. |
