@FrlghtWolf Heh, maybe he did, but he was a competent musician anyways and they were probably good friends. George was the 3rd Beatle, and didn't have the same ego as Paul and John, so there you go.

@kingpintoo - I know of EVERYONE in this band except for this Jeff Lynne person. Since nothing of much came out of the 70's except Donny & Marie Osmond, I'm afraid I don't know ELO.

@viperswhip - I don't know ELO except that they were a group from the 70's. Since nothing happened in the 70's I'm not surprised that I don't know him. More importantly...he seems to have attached himself to George (a peculiar thing to do since George was the minor-Beatle). Everywhere George went, there was this fat guy with poofy hair, bad hat...and some really stupid sunglasses hanging around. I thought perhaps he had loaned George some money in high school or something.

@FrlghtWolf If you are still wondering, he was the longest serving member of the Electric Light Orchestra - ELO. He did vocals, keyboard and guitar for them. They had a couple of popular songs over the years. In any case, the was a decent musician.
