Oh crap for all these years I thought he was "the reasoning of his latest flame"!
I was driving down the 5 last night out in the central valley and picked up a cool oldies station on the AM dial, I think it was coming out of Modesto or somewhere out in the middle of no where. Cool tune for sure that I hadn't heard for many years, and outside of a 10pm stop at In-n-Out in Mclintock this was the highlight of my drive.

Elvis' voice is so pure, so full of passion about what he's singing and so soleful that it's unique. It has the abilty to touch your emotions like few others. Is it any wonder he was dubbed THE KING

One of all time favorite Elvis songs. It tells a story with the ring of truth. The protagonist losses twice and can do nothing about it.

@loughman4life Lennon was arguably the greatest composer of the 20th century, but by no stretch of the imagination a better performer than The King.

I randomly taught myself the riff, and I had the lyrics mutilated so it was a bitch to find the actual song xD
