I remember when this song came out. I actually have the video of the making of which includes the whole song and then how troops who were serving reacted to it. I cried then and I still cry when I hear this song. What these celebrities did to honor our men and women in the military was amazing and true testament to how things had changed since the days of Vietnam protests.

This perfect adult contemporary ballad has it all.David Foster in the producer's seat.Three of the best voices ever Celine Dion,Michael Bolton and Luther Vandross leading.Hi-tech aor pioneer Peter Cetera,hair metal legends Jani Lane (Warrant) and Nelson,r'n b giant Bobby Brown and so many more..And what better way to close the song than Warren Wiebe one of the finest in westcoast aor ever.That's real music.Music as i want to remember it..
