i was supporting brazil at that time and was extremely frustrated by the way zidane single handedly mastered the mid field..great player zidane..!

@andimk7910 Couldnt be more right, I remember the hype that surrounded that Brazilian team especially Ronaldinho, who was to be the most exciting prospect in the whole Competition, Zidane was just immense showing how much of a leader and a character he was in the competition, there will never be a player to have as good a touch of the ball as he had

Soccer haters say the players tap dance around the ball.
Not true with Zidane. He WALTZED with it.

@neneswsw Technically he was there during the match. What 200dogz is trying to say that Zidane was the one who brought France to two FIFA finals and would have won the 2006 tournament had MateRATzzi not insulted his sister.
PauIscholes (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
He was 34 at that world cup. How many people play like that at the age?? I respect ronaldinho so much but he's only 32 and not at his best.
cuatromil4 (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
que bien que jugaba esa selección de francia
neneswsw (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
@200dogz Wait, you got 2006 wrong...France only came second because Zidane was sent off the field...
MrIceman001 (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
He just dance with the ball. Simply the best. |
