The CZ75 variants are all EXCELLENT pistols. They are a bit heavy because they have a steel frame. Very good explanation of how the locking mechanism holds the slide and barrel together very briefly in the firing phase to allow for safe extraction of the casing without allowing the gasses to back into it during extraction and causing them to rupture. Good stuff!

Just got a 75BD last week. Only put about 150 rounds through her so far, but this a great pistol. Nice and solid, an OK trigger right out of the box, and it's simply a pretty piece... Can't go wrong with a CZ75 model pistol, and I plan to get another CZ model fro CCW...

I lol'd when I saw this video. This guy knows more about this gun than I do and can shoot circles around me, but I couldn't help but laugh @ 1:58 when he's like "What is the piece of sheet-metal here?" in such a tone that he sounds like he's sitting here right along with the rest of us going "WTF? What's that doing there? What's it for? Hmm. Never remember seeing THAT there before...."

This is a great gun. I got the CZ-75B .40 S&W about 4 months ago and use it as my CCW.

Very rugged, excellent pistol. I like it's weight; if you ever have to pistol whip somebody, that's a good one to use.
