@Tranc3grl well, the movie is not bad, but I wouldnt say it is underrated, I would actually say it is overrated. sure many people dont know it today, but it never deserved to win the Oscar. Too cliched. Also, for a movie that tries to bring consciousness on racism, it makes some stupid decisions like when Bullock gets all paranoid about the black guys on the street, she was right on being paranoid (he WAS a thief). The movie (at least that scene) is racist and cliched.
