I remember them canceling that unlimited rentals in stores after about 6 months and replacing it with the 2 dvds out at a time plan by mail. people were pist I was their renting a game when the worker told a customer they had to pay full price for their movies or signed up for the by mail plan.!

@CR250R40 That and their own greed was their downfall. they could have had all older movies for 0.99¢ for 2 days rentals and beaten Redbox at their own game but they still wanted to charge $3.99 and in a Recession too. also there's alot of Movies Redbox and Netflixs don't have Grandma's Boy, The Invasion ( The 2006 remake of Invasion of the body snatchers ) Stay Alive, The Mist, ect. but Netflix does have alot of TV show and Documentaries..!

thats why blockbuster when out of business, they stopped airing these commercials.

@CR250R40 You are wrong. Blockbuster closed due to Blockbuster Americas debt being transferred to Canada and then Blockbuster America allowing Canada to sink after Dishnetwork purchased them.
