Hedy's story and continued push for human rights is both inspiring and powerful. I've had the privilege of meeting Hedy at Lindenwood University several years ago, when she spoke about her family, the holocaust and her continued push towards peace. That speech has never left me, she showed slides of the last letters she received from her parents and how brave they were to send her to England on a childs transport. They saved her life.
