Well, even more people believe in various religions, and they HAVE faculties for studying it. Even with academics institutions studying it, they STILL cannot prove or document anything.
Alien abductions are also "frequently reported experiences". Do you want academic institutions established to study that too? Anecdotal evidence bores me.

I don't believe, I only accept things with "empirical evidence" accumulated with data-collection and always open to the possibility of falsification. The Ganzfeld, DMILS, etc. peer-reviewed studies are one of the reasons why I said parapsychological research warrants further research.

The irony with this is that you're the one whose actually ignorant in scientific methodology/statistics. The actual probability of getting 1,008 hits from 3,145 ganzfeld sessions in a two-tailed t-test is P<0.000000001, which is extremely strong evidence in conventional, scientific criteria.. |
