@Starkardur-Yet somehow their music is all over the place. Just this week Smash did a version of Call Me. Rip Her to Shreds was featured in Bridesmaids. Also American Idol, etc. And Glee. (Can't win them all). Heck, Atomic was featured in two World Cups. Not too shabby for a band that allegedly didn't sell anything.:) Incidentally Autoamerican had two US No. 1 songs. That said, you are arguing about Sade. How random can you get? For your next act you can argue about Air Supply.

@boltonox so they were selling Beatles numbers?????. Yeah right. They never had a no.1 album in the US. Eat to the beat failed to enter top 10. 20 million estimated US sales??? Their soundscan sales post 1991 are not impressive. 50 million albums world-wide. Eat to the beat and Auto American selling what 10 million copies each - yeah right.

@boltonox since when? weren´t they nominated in a group category at last years grammy. Doesn´t say on every album blocket Sade are:. Sade is a group with its lead singer Sade Adu.

@Starkardur WTF! Why don't you go to another artist's page and debate there, Sade and Blondie are like 2 totally different artists. At least if you're going to pick a fight choose another artist that's similar to Sade. Blondie is nothing like Sade, one is a new wave group and the other is a solo pop/jazz artist. Do you feel threatened by Blondie or something? WTF!

The 20,000,000 million albums sold is a vastly incorrect number. 50,000,000 albums WORLD WIDE between 1977-82 is reported to be a closer estimation, with 20,000,000 being the estimated U.S figure, but due to a rip-off act between Bondies managers and their record labels, the figures were manipulated down so as to pay them less. Blondie has more re-released albums than almost any other Artist. At present its up to about 39 albums, and still sell an average of 1 million per year even today!
