@TELEVISIONARCHIVES We'd better make sure of that.

@TELEVISIONARCHIVES I was looking at a unemployment rate chart currently updated 5 days ago, May 6, 2011 (from the source of U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics). Unemployment was going a bit down until 2008 which happens to be the year obama became president, (imagine that). In 2008 in drastically went up from 4.8% to 9%, In less than a year! don't believe me go see for yourself. Go to google .com and type in: unemployment rate chart. You should see a picture click on it. That's it! Obama sucks!

@TELEVISIONARCHIVES I will take that wager and you will lose... I am not totally impressed with Obama. There is clearly too much private money in US politics that prevents politicians being ideological. In some other countries the nation pays parties based on members. There politicians get elected based on their political orientation, not on big PR budget and how much big business backing they have because laws limit the amount private backing a party can get. Which counters the richs influence.

our country is on the verge of collapse, there is radiation spreading all over the world, and WWIII has been underway for quite sometime. Build an arsenal, stockpile MREs and seeds, and DON'T vote for either the democrat or republican parties. We need to take the ENTIRE government down from the bottom to the top!

People have no clue how bad unemployment in the U.S. is. If you want to see what the unemployment rate really is, google "U-6 unemployment rate". That includes those groups of people that our Government conveniently avoids accounting for. Instead, they are using the U-3 unemployment rate. People wake up ... stop LISTENING to what your elected officials (i.e. Obama) are TELLING you ... they tell you that which will help them get elected, not what is the truth.

President George Bush largest budget was $2.9 with a $239 Billion deficit. . Obama proposed $3.7 Trillion with a deficit of $1.4 Trillion for 2011. Currently based on usdebtclock org, the debt/GDP is 97.2%. Yet Obama claims that his spending is reasonable better than Reagan. . Obama and democrats are trying to position themselves as the "good guys" using a government shutdown as a political strategy for their exorbitant spending. The Conservatives are trying to control spending.

In November 2011 there was 15.1 million unemployed with 9.8% in November 2012. The total pool of unemployed was (15.1 million/9.8%)=154,081,632 . The unemployment rate currently is 8.9% with 13.7 million unemployed totaling 153,932,584 in the workforce . Between November 2010 & March 2011, 149,048 are no longer in looking for work (154,081,632-153,932,584). This almost cancels the Nonfarm payroll employment increased by 192,000 jobs created in private industry for the month of February

Well, discouraged workers still consume resources without adding back productivity, and underemployed workers have their talents squandered, also decreasing productivity. To not count them in unemployment statistics makes no sense, unless you want to dupe other countries into believing we are better off.
