For the confused comments written before you don't only drink water when deployed. Example most sports players also drink gatorade because of the electrolytes that quickly help your body replenish in extreme conditions to prevent dehydration. Plus who wants to drink water 24/7 out of nasty bottles that were warped from the sun and hot weather. A good tool to help you before you call people names watch GI Joe because "Knowing is Half The Battle!".

@bzurvalec Why don't the vehicles have AC? Because the US Army (of which I am a veteran) has one simple rule: There's, a) the RIGHT way, b) the WRONG way, and, c) the ARMY way. In other words, Julius Caesar didn't have AC, Napoleon didn't have AC. George Washington didn't have AC, and Patton didn't have AC, so by God, neither will there be AC in "this man's Army", 21st century technology notwithstanding! Fossilized, hidebound, bureaucratic: you gotta love the "military mind"!

Tim, If you're there, here's a question. Forgive me if this sounds stupid, but it came up at work when I told everyone about the 167 degrees in the vehicle, chugging 4-5 gallons of gatorade per day, etc. The question is: why don't the vehicles have AC?
