@JunglisticOne There is 512MB on the motherboard itself, so if there is a 512 stick of RAM in the DIMM slot, then that will equal 1GB

i have been lookig at rams for my aspire one happy..and some rams for it are listed as 200 pin and some 204 pin does this matter ,,,,thanks

Great video post! I was trying for 20 minutes to figure out why the top chassis could not come off, only to find that there were 2 SCREWS underneath the rubber rear feet!

I wish I could upgrade that 8GB only allocated to the OS. I just used a 16GB SD card. Worked like a charm. I followed what you said, and found a 512MB clip in it. weird! I could have sworn that the OS said 1GB
