I sympathize with THIS Hitler (not the real one).
Not in science, but in math: I've published in math successfully. My current paper under review came back with mixed reviews. But, the reviewers don't even criticize the half of my paper that *I* don't like. They criticize the GOOD part. They want me to waste time padding it out with exposition on other mathematicians' paper which are unnecessary for my theorem. Yes, related, but not necessary.
