Anton Batey vs. John Potash (Tupac Conspiracy Theorist) 1

Debate I had with John Potash regarding the death of rapper Tupac Shakur. Potash thinks that the government enacted, in his words, "a huuuugee U.S. intelligence network" consisting of "fifteen-plus agencies" to kill Tupac. Of course, this high-level operation, according to him, only took five years and six tries. Few things I noticed. I had someone in the studio on the phone who is more tolerant of conspiracy theories than me, and didn't challenge John........John severely kept wanting to talk to Larry, and not to me. Also, when I could contradict something John said, there would be a pause, and he would jump to another subject. I have his book, and I find it incredibly unconvincing. As he said in this debate, as he does in his book, he relies on two people: Kevin Hackie and Russell Poole...... Regarding Kevin Hackie, here are two articles I wrote about him a few years ago......... http://www.thuglifearmy.com/ne... http://www.thuglifearmy.com/ne... Most importantly, I interviewed him over a year ago..........here is a transcript...... Batey: "He [Reginald Wright] wanted me to ask you if you still think he has anything to do with Tupacs death" Hackie: "I'll say this much: The Metro Police, they have no more interest in the case; they do have independent statements that corroborate that Orlando was the shooter. So at this point in time, no. I dont really even care about it anymore. But no - to answer your question." Furthermore, Kevin Hackie was quoted even in books suggesting a conspiracy (by Suge, not the federal government.....), like Randall Sullivan's book LAbyrinth, where on page 192 it says, "Hackie said, he had no real evidence that Suge was responsible for Tupacs slaying". Hackie also never claimed what Potash said: that Tupac was such a huge political threat and that the federal government tried to kill him several times before finally doing it right (idiots!). Potash has never even spoken to Hackie. I have....... The same applies to Poole. Although Poole DID maintain that Tupac was killed by Knight, he NEVER said what Potash is saying. Poole seems to think that police had Tupac killed that were working for SUGE........Potash is saying the direct opposite. Poole said that these were corrupt, rogue cops that were straying from standard operating procedure and were under the orders of Knight........Potash says the cops were hired and did precisely what they were told from top levels of the federal government. Again, the opposite. This is why it's actually extremely funny that he uses Poole as his main primary source. I would love to debate him again and just focus on the alledged give times that the federal government horribly and stupidly "failed" in their assassination attempts to "kill" Tupac - especially the Oakland Police Incident, the shootout with police in Atlanta, and 1994 shooting, and perhaps the most retarded......their inability to kill Tupac while he was in prison, lol......... So listen to the "debate", make up your own mind, and enjoy. Thanks for anyone who's listening.

@VigilantPlaya Don't back peddle -- you clearly said that Tupac claimed that he was ready to leave to Cuba and hook up with Fidel Castro. You do realize that one of Tha Outlaw members was called "Kastro", do you not? Also, you want to pick and choose what lyrics you take literal. Even Drah Cenedive -- when I debated him and won -- conceded that the lyrics are not "proof" at all that he is alive.

@AntonBatey believe what u want but I trust 2Pac's words so if he said it, it's the truth. and he didn't mention meeting Fidel Castro in an interview, he said it in Ballad Of A Dead Soulja. Of course u will say it's bs, but there is another song called I'll Never Call U Bitch Again & if u take the 1st letter of each words, it says I.N.C.U.B.A. In that song he said "my plan & schemes to be rich like a king & live my life trouble free"

@VigilantPlaya Tupac was not being screwed out of money. Tupac never lived as high off the hog as he did when he was with Death Row. Money from music takes sometimes 12-18 months to get, and Tupac died after 7 months. In the meanwhile, Tupac was getting advances. He was also costing Death row a lot in the many legal fees. So it is a myth that he was being screwed while at Death Row. Also, give the interview where he said he was leaving town and going to Cuba with Castro.

@AntonBatey 2Pac got screwed out of a lot of money during his stint with Deathrow records, that is a fact. Many blame Suge for that but that is wrong as 2Pac told us in Ballad Of A Dead Soulja. And just before saying that he described his own murder and that he was ready to leave town and hook up with Fidel Castro. lol, yes, I am definitly an alive "kid"

@VigilantPlaya That line of reasoning is awful. Tupac lyrics? You sound like an "alive" kid.

John Potash: "I believe that Death Row Records, which included dozens & dozens of police officers at all levels, according to a high-level police officer that investigated them, was a front company & was trying to continue penal coercion and mess up [Tupac's] head" 2Pac: "stupid coppers tried to play us out, never that, they took my money and my stash, time to get em back" ^^ this line is proof that John Potash is telling the truth

@coolalimefun Babylon beware Coming "from" the Pharoah's kids, retaliation Making legends off the shit we did, still bullshitting dont get it twisted

@bitterbonker Well let's not act like Tupac himself didn't exacerbate the feud. Even at the peak of it, according to Potash, the government was trying to kill him, which is ludicrous. Also, Tupac got very, very angry at Snoop for saying publically he had no beef with Bad Boy. That's not showing sorrow for the beef that Tupac essentially created two years prior.
