If there is oil in Cambodia maybe the west will finally do something to help the wonderful khmer people. Or maybe we will stand by and watch just as we did during the Pol Pot years. That sounds more likely.

No matter what anyone says here it will do nothing for the people of Cambodia. because we all call for help from someone else expecting them to do something. if that no one steps forward that country my homeland is never going to regain its former beauty. power,greed,jealousy it what rules that country so who will help? no one if everyone is mute and blind towards this injustice we take advantage of what we have here. and don't see the world around us so i ask again. who will help? besides us.

example someone give 1,000,000 dollars to the government to do research for oil in Cambodia, the first person who receive that money corrupt 10,000 dollars already then another one take 10,000$ everyone corrupt that money.. finally that money last only 10,000$ for do research for oil.. thats wat they do in cambodia..

Cambodian people will not get a penny from the new discovered oil. The government is to greedy, the Oil will go to Vietnamese, HUN SEN will destroy cambodia from the inside out. To much corruption in cambodia, Murder, Rape, Sex Trafficking and Drugs plays apart in everyday corruption in Cambodia, CPP = COMMUNIST PEOPLE PARTY
