@lowellriggsiam Deregulation wasn't the entire issue. The problem was that when Enron was in California they had no competition. There weren't any other electric companies.

@Aliciapiano99 There is nothing morally right about making money off imaginary dividends or insider trading (the later which is considered a criminal act which is punishable by jail time.) ENRON was not a win-win situation.
