@magnapillow sorry just one more thing....the whole principle behind Newton running is so narrow minded, it assumes that the human natural form for running is the best.... Fast/good runners will naturally progress to forefoot running in any shoe once they get fast enough, furthermore, the majority of the (non forefoot runners) do so because they are not running fast enough to make it natural or economical... which bring me back to my first point, fast/good runners don't wear Newtons for a reason

There's a reason why you never see elite athletes wearing Newtons.....i shouldn't have to explain myself. Likewise, there is a reason why nearly everyone i see wearing Newtons is slow or relatively new to running...

This is a great video on running technique. But also note that you do not have to have newtons to run properly.
Newtons just didn't work out for me, and a few people I know, we all got ITB related injuries.
It still comes down to what shoe is right for you. I'm a midfoot striker and I wear Mizunos.

@NewtonRunning why do your shoes cost so much? do they last? ive been thinking about buying a pair of the distance ones.i just got a feeling that the spring thingy's on the bottom of the shoes are cheap, look like they're about to fall off. |
