What the trailer doesn't tell you is that this fucking idiot starves to death because he doesn't care enough to read a basic wilderness survival guide before venturing into the great alaskan wild, which i can promise you, is unlike anything he has heretofore experienced. This is not the romantic tale of some thoreau-like figure living off the land. This is the story of some idealistic kid with an astonishing lack of common sense. Do not idolize this moron. Idolize people who actually survived.

i want everyone to stop and think for a second, if you died tomorrow, would you be happy with your life? ill answer that for you.... me neither. Live like you were dying, because you are, one day you will be gone, i would rather die like chris did, vs sit at a desk my whole life. I truly love the outdoors, and no matter what extent you or i take the passion for adventure too, we can finally say we are satisfied that we did something. the world is a playground, go play in it. Chris did.

Ah, a like-minded soul. All the best, Dave. I know nothing, but I do know my rants and ramblings are not unique. Do not live in subservience to your origins and associated self-doubts.

I agree wholeheartedly agree - but the anonymity of the internet is viable and conveniently detached therapy.
