Just try to follow SRV on air guitar and you always be a half step behind.

Nobody can touch SRV. Page is awesome, Hendricks of course, Beck is an awesome student of the instrument with tremendous contribution, but the creativeness, the physical ability, the composition, the impromptue journey that SRV makes everytime he plays puts him on a mountain above anybody. Rolling Stone is wrong..You can play SRV for almost ANY crowd across the board and get them moving, but with Hendricks or Clapton that is just not true.

the drop and comeback of the riff at 2:51 is the sexiest thing ever, there is no debating.

Hey Beck's great, everybody should know it, hell HE KNOWS IT, but man Stevie Didn't fuck around. At around 1:24, those big licks, that's like taking a hammer and pounding piano wire. How many bluesslingers even have the nerve to play with Beck? |
