@brianendersmusic its really not that hard to work on your own gear, there are a ton of great tutorials online on how to route the body for the humbucker and how to rewire for any setup you want, just make sure you take your time and don't half ass it.

can't i buy a guitar with the same specs for like a grand? Why are nice guitars like 3grand all of a sudden. I just want a well made caster with a humbucker in the neck, nothing from china or mexi. Anybody a builder

Haha you are right, as a matter of fact I have an Ibanez '58 flying V copy from the 70's, great guitar. The Gibson one costs about 10k:p
However, I think that relicing a guitar to 100% exact specs is in a different ballpart. Or even more extreme, like the Frankenstrat model, they had to find 150 1971 dollar coins. Very hard and time consuming. So these guitar can be justified to cost a lot more. |
