@robn23x My god, please don't take that comment too seriously. I was not saying that musical taste is based on intelligence. (although there are a nice amount of statistics that show certain music can help your thought process, but i'm not an expert) That comment was a first reaction to the realization that so many people watched this. I was complimenting everyone who likes this. Don't take an innocent comment into a debate about musical intelligence. It's youtube for gods sake

@backstyck I'm not much of a broadway fan, ..at all. I appreciate it, of course, but my knowledge of classic musicals is very limited unfortunately. So you couldn't be more wrong by saying that I am a pretentious one. Now you could say that the people that liked that comment could be a stereotypical fan, sure. But neither of us know the 17 people, nor do we have any right to judge. However, I know a wonderful song, and this is one. And you don't need to be a pretentious theatre geek to see that.

@madsmith93 This thought (currently rated second top comment) sums up almost entirely (albeit unintentionally, no doubt) the stereotype of the pretentious Broadway musical fan. Considering the youtubers who are most likely viewing this, the fact that your comment was rated so highly speaks volumes about the truths underlying the stereotype.
On another note, this song is incredibly well-written and well-performed. The musical was brilliant, and this was my favorite piece.
