im glad it closed but its closer to my house than SeaWorld ! SeaWorld is 2 hours away from my house ! marineland would only take 45 minutes !

I'm so glad they were moved, there tank was so small :( But Corky is doing great at SWC! She's a beautiful orca I love her :)

on your recomendation i read the parrots lament, and your right it is a fantastic book. The stuff about these two was really eye opening.
by the way for anyone else interested - i bought it from amazon for a penny - you cant argue with that.

@OhUDidntKn0w It most certainly was not playfully. And they have ruled out that he did not pull her in by the ponytail. Tilikum knows his strength, and he probably knew what he was doing. He dragged her around the pool and it was a while before they could coax him to let go of the arm he had pulled off.
I am not saying this as an ignorant person, like many people on this site. I help research wild orcas.

I work at Terranea which was built on the site of marineland, but I wish i had been able to experience this before it was taken down. what awesome creatures
