@barecoil I also feel much sadness for Metallica's decline, and I half agree with you about their cover of Astronomy. They could have done so much more with it than a basically verbatim copy of the studio version, down to every note of Buck's solo. On the other hand, I'm gratified that they chose to give tribute to one of the most influential yet under-recognized rock/metal bands ever.

@hhhuor metallica's version really hurts; i think you have lost your sense of classic rock,..maybe im wrong and you still got it because metallica turned into a hard rock band; james is so boring singing his own songs now that hurts when play classics like this; playing/singing thin lizzy is easy for james/lars..but here they lacks touch, it hurts my ears; everytime i hear james even mumble a word, i have to go back to my vinils and listen all ride the ligntning to release the pain.
