No, it is not always, that healthy eating is expensive, they are just too lazy and irresponsible to their health.

What I find more scary than this film is the fact that people already didn't know this. Is it really possible that Americans need a documentary to show them the obvious? Is it possible that people never wondered where their food comes from?

@bowlofsoup44 There are certain effects from deregulating an area. They aren't positive at first but once in effect for a while there are the good results far better than having an economy that is restricted. I want government to have a limited say in the market so that companies like Monsanto, Cannot cry for government aid or REGULATIONS that keep competitors out. I want them to suffer through competition. and the only way they could win is to build a better product.

@tehatemachine This is what's so funny about this whole, left-right debate.. There are instances where over-regulation messes up the market, but at the same time there are instances where deregulation screws things up too..

@YouRanda halal meat is not an exception to this meat processing industry, it is no better.
YouRanda (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
After this movie, I started to only eat halal meat which isn't widely available, so my diet usually looks like that of a vegetarian who likes to eat seafood. It's sad that American politicians won't even include change to food industry lobbies in their campaigns, instead they focus on how Christian they are compared to other candidates. What a hypocrisy!
