Putting faith in its place

Faith has no place demanding agreement or punishing disagreement. NOTE: In the beginning thought experiment, the computer is not asking for general answers like 'space' or 'matter' that would apply to absolutely every possible permutation of objects in the cube. It is asking for specifics. Apply the 'game show' criterion. If you were asked on a game show 'What's in the cube?' you know that 'space' and 'matter' would not cut it as answers. Besides, if you do resort to answering with generalities that would apply to any conceivable contents of the cube, that simply illustrates my point: that specific answers can't be given.

Utterly sublime. You talk so simply and succinctly about a subject that seems to escape almost everybody, atheist and theist alike, and the clean presentational format serves to reinforce and clarify any points in the argument that might be lost in the tidal wave of stunning logical prowess. It's a sight for sore eyes and, more importantly, food for thought. You would have to perform some dazzling mental acrobatics in order to find a flaw with this video.

@DastardlyDawkins Agnostics become militant once their life is compromised by religious affairs ;) Singularity is coming!!!!!! Brace yourselves ;)

@jolohmm Firstly, Agnostics aren't militant. And secondly, there's more evidence for Zeus, than there is for a 'Singularity'. ;)

Don't you just love a logic and sound argument? It made me a sub. And if you're a deist (or worse yet, a christian) I personally believe it takes some serious getting used to. But when the voice of reason is presented in a flawless manner, such as it is in this brilliant little video, in the end, even WLG should eat his skivvies because the so-called great "professional" philosopher, as he likes to refer to himself, doesn't have a leg to stand on. Bravo!

@DastardlyDawkins Okay fine. lol, All of us are agnostics/atheists. A lot of people firmly believe that zeus doesn't exist :P.

@druumuuluum Are you speaking on behalf of the entire planet here? Or are you, as i suspect, simply unable to understand, let alone refute, any of the issues raised in my argument? I'll leave it open to subjective interpretation, if that's alright with you, of course. :)

@jolohmm Nonsense! I'm an Agnostic when it comes to the FSM - the only logical & rational position to take.

@SazVlogs Nobody really believes in incoherent jibberish though, do they? Well, with the exception of your good self, obviously. :) Jesus is Lord.
