@Lorenmcdee Here is the thing with Obama. He understands exactly where gay people are coming from. But he has said it time and time again his belief is that marriage is defined as between a man and a woman but he would support a bill that would support same sex marriage. Clearly he has hinted such. You also have to understand he has a second term to protect so he has to keep a low key. I guarentee when he is re-elected he will make changes FACT!

@katrina22ize I think people misinterpret what god has planned. Maybe he does want gay people to fall in love with the same sex because love is such a poweful thing. It cannot be forced. Religious people misinterpret god and his plan. If he really hated gay people they simply would not exist. God loves us all and has a plan for all of his children.

I wish he would stop. I like Obama enough, but look, he needs to be a leader for equality, not some halfway in and halfway out wuss. You guys deserve your rights.

@HaitianBoyz123 yeh exept gay people exept women and exept handicaped. Being gay is a sin thats what stands in the bible so if the bible was made by god that mean he hate all those things that were a sin in the bible. Or atleast thats what some priests peach to us

A neurotic sexual fetish affected by modeling the opposite sex parent to compensate for a complication of intimacy with distant or absent mother or father is hardly a basis for a marriage relationship. Underlying all neurotic conditions are ego problems accompanied by low self-esteem. Once the person begins engage in homosexual relations it becomes a sexual addiction with an intense compulsive desire for only same sex relationships. Self-esteem will not improve until the person abstains.

@codygirll Not to let facts get in the way, but that whole "separation of church and state" thing you talk about, isn't actually in the Constitution. You may want to actually read Amendment 1 which says... Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.
