I appreciate very much this man's art. Let the art speak for itself. Art has a timeless, universal quality that transcends us individually. And, please remember, religions do not hate, persons inside and outside religions do hate. Thank You! Peace OM

@kscsmith Is that what Christianity did? And what other visions do you proclaim in all your faith and glory?

@allenshepard I agreee.............hopefully the so called christians will realize how much christianity has caused so much hate and distrust

Anyone dismissing this amazing soul as being a terrorist or having some type of agenda, other than spreading peace and love and making you frigging THINK....is truly the one with no soul. The exact message he was singing against....cant blame a guy for walking away from the music business.

@paul1x1 A bigot ... well maybe you knew him personally. Most powerful personalities have very deep convictions and they do take a label like that.
If a person is a bigot and he wants to project peace and love - all strength to him.
This world is full of hatred, cynicism, jealousy, and violence - it exists in abundance - everywhere. He reaches up to that place we all need to go to. But I know that nothing I or anyone says will change a persons view. Only life experience.

@allenshepard I think saying that he'd prefer it if the real thing(Salman Rushdie)was burnt instead of an effigy may make him a terrorist. He publicly endorsed Ayatollah Khamen'i's fatwa, which is incitement of the worst kind of violence against both an individual and democratic principles.Expressing the wish that Salman Rushdie be burnt alive because he wrote a book was an assault on democratic ideals-it's disgusting, medieval sadism. |
