Zappa kept his eye on the ball.
He never lost sight of the real issue, namely that we have the right to SAY THINGS and WRITE THINGS, that one person has no right to forcibly prevent another person from saying them and writing them.
Whether one approves of what was said or written is IRRELEVANT.
The issue is whether one person has the right to use force to prevent another person from speaking them and writing them.
The answer to that question of course is NO.
