@Crimsonphilic Actually the gospels were written by men who recorded people who eyewitnessed the death and resserection of the Lord Jesus Christ. The gospels have reliability similar to a current newspaper, but it is claim that can be supported. Other ancient works do not have this modern way of writing. We have what the author(s) wrote. The authors claim to be telling the truth and their writing supports the claim. External sources verify the accuracy of the gospels.

@tonijeanapple I guess I should point out that the two are the same thing, as well. Or perhaps, I should ask, what's the difference between an eternal death and a physical death, as you see it?

who cares about the bible, just be happy we are here, enjoy your life for what it is, if there is a god, i'm sure thats all he really wants, stop griping wether or not there is a god, we'll never know, jesus never meant he was the son of god, what he really meant was that WE ARE ALL SONS OF GOD, I SAY LETS STOP LYING TO OURSELVES, STOP WORRYING ABOUT THE BIBLE AND GOD AND DO WHATEVER THE HELL WE WANT!!!

@ABeans07 yes following a book that says (granted some of these have stipulation but the fact they are allowed in any case is disturbing) murder (including children), slavery(including children), rape, child abuse, that condemns any one who doesn't believe its passages, spouse l abuse, abuse to woman in general, and all to honor a god who's major concern is that he is worshiped as seen with the first four commandments could never yield any negative outcome. cough spanish inquisition and Crusades
