@itssuperduper It's quite curious brecause alpha-thujone is metabolized in the liver within half an hour and beta-thujone doesn't do much. After a few glasses of booze, people "feel" whatever they're supposed to feel....
A monster dose of thujone (equals to about half a litre of your wonder-absinthe) dissolved in a single glass was tested on human subjects a few years ago, and they didn't feel a thing. Obviously, they were not drunken enough to imagine those "effects".

My absinthe has a 110 mg of thujone and after sipping slowly over a few hours a rare buzz is experienced. Almost comparable to mushrooms...feeling a bit weird and laughing at silly shit. I believe the absinthe you brew does not have enough thujone in it. You sound like you know alot about absinthe, just not alot about good absinthe.

@ramas456 All kinds of spirits can cause hallucinations if you're a hardcore alcoholic. Absinthe drinkers didn't have it any more often in the 19th century than others drinking rum, gin, brandy. Absinthe -- as a novelty -- was just easier to demonize than traditional spirits, so alcohol prohibitionists went for it. They didn't come up with any real evidence, ever.

Cause for a second there, I thought I was gonna have to fly halfway across the US to meet a guy who knows a guy that knows a European fellow that i'd have to pay to fly to Europe and back with the absinthe smuggled up his ass then fly back across the US with it smuggled up my ass in order to get home and enjoy this very controversial illegal drink. But thanks to you, now I know I can just google it. You smartass piece of shit cock sucker. Thank you
