@SuicidalCowProdction actualy what your calling spartan project 2 was the first spartan project, the spartan 2 project got its name because of what the soldiers were named after - the Spartan worriers of ancient Greece. john - master chief was not the first spartan correct but if you have played reach and beat the game you will figure out that he is the last spartan 2 in existence, the only reason he is what people believe of him is because he was chosen to protect the AI cortana by captain keys
