I think that stupid show they did was what tore them apart. Nick hated the cameras and Jessica just followed whatever her dad told her to do. The staff told her to be a dumb blonde and she actually turned into one on and off-screen. From Nick's songs "What's Left of Me" and "I Can't Hate You Anymore", it's obvious that he hated how she changed from the girl he loved to the spoiled moron they told her to be just for ratings. I wish the both of them the best. May this be a learning experience.
