Well no matter what he calls it that was simply to most concise tutorial on cutting out objects in PS while also showing the power of the pen tool vs polygonal tool. Being self taught there were many fundamentals that I just glossed over. Good post.

@staone1 Er...you mean for rendering out an animation file? No, I don't. I really don't look this stuff up online, haha, sorry. To learn I pretty much use school +bought resources, like Gnomon DVDs and the more "reputable" tutorial magazines and books.

@staone1 I just described two things. Which one were you looking for? And I'm not really sure I can find a video on it...Good tutorial videos for this stuff on Youtube seem hard to find...I've never looked up any sort of "how to" art video on Youtube.
