This is weird. I actualy believed this myself before hearing him say it. I also thought would your double be created slightly before the original was destroyed and so there would be 2 of u. Or would the 2nd be created after the destruction of the original so u'de temporarily not exist. Or if the actual energy that ure made from is transmitted does it go back in the same order i.e is what was your arse now your brain?? :S

I have seen the first 2 seasons of 'The Big Bang Theory', I wonder, how they gained all of this information, that Sheldon speaks out of all the time. Does anyone know how they do it?

@1grinder1 Wow, you really do not know what you are talking about. Its a commonly discussed problem in philosophy - closely related to the problems with Turing-test. I recommend you read up on Nagel and Searl and other critics of AI before spewing uneducated bullshit again.

@1grinder1 There is no "soul" in spiritual way but your mind, teleportation would create a new person, a "clone" and "You" wouldn't continue in existence. It would be someone else. "Soul" is a superstructure over the physical processions in brain and is unique in that matter. You can put on fire the same type of wood but the actuall fire won't have the same characteristics as another. The person on "point B" would think the same way as person on "A", but it wouldn't be YOU.
