@summercures2 Sorry, you are giving her too much credit. She didn't list an b/c she didn't read any. That's fine, she could have just said she doesn't get her 'world view' from reading newspapers or magazines. She could have just done a Newt - source Reagan & that would have won her points. Per her own book, she was annoyed by Katie & everyone saw her unmature response. That obvious contempt by Palin lost her votes & forever created her public unfovorable image.

I love how Palin thinks she's smart when she uses "big words" like "a vast variety of sources". She almost sounded proud of forming that sentence fragment.

It's not that Sarah can't cite what newspapers or magazines she reads; it's that she avoided the question. And that's understandable since, as a politician, it would be unwise to indirectly endorse a news outlet. She's playing the game of politics just like any other politician. And as a politician, it's an absolute must that you keep up with as many news stories as you can. Sarah is most likely being honest.
