Is the wood part of the bearing surface? Wouldn't this catch on fire after a bit?

Well, actually, the spinning wheels act as gyros. Otherwise anyone could do an extended track stand and have no trouble.

@mateivornicu similar to a snow shoe, this bike is needed for terrain where you need a larger "footprint" like riding on snow/ice/sand.
