Sorry to say that there are so many of the performers in this video that are now deceased - Johnny Maestro of the Crests, Betty Everett, Doris Troy, Bobby Hatfield of the Righteous Bros., Dean Torrance of Jan & Dean, Mary Wells, Carl & Dennis Wilson of the Beach Boys, Clyde McPhatter, Elvis, Ritchie Valens, Thurston Harris, Bobby Darin . . . maudlin, perhaps, but I grew up listening to all of this stuff and it saddens me to know that so many of these folks left us before their time.
