@Booya9272 It is not just believed. Thujon is chemically classified as a convulsive. It WILL cause a seizure.

people who call the absinthe we have now "knock offs" are simply getting the effects of absinthe while expecting something else, and therefore becoming disappointed. Hate to break it to you, but if you want to have a crazy experience on absinthe, your mind has to be a little different from the average person.

@shrynakesavan You don't need to "brew it" at all. Buy some wormwood (It's about $10 for 30 grams) throw it in a cheap bottle of Absinthe (the extra wormwood will make it taste like shit) and leave it for a month, and pronto Absinthe with added thujone. Just be aware it will taste like shit and it is believed excess thujone causes seizures.

@Gettingbakedful I got a bottle for my birthday and had a proper glass last night. It's great. All of my fear and nerves were completely relieved after a few sips. I absolutely love it. Highly recommended. |
