@uphill248 8 months later, but the 5970 im sure as you probably know by now is already crossfire, and adding another one would be "quadfire". And you can either get a 5970 or a 5870 as the 5970 is just composed of two 5880's, thus making it "trifire"

I have this card, it's amazing. Make sure you have a large enough case, mine barely fits it. It can run Crysis Warhead and Crysis 2 with about 80+ fps on average.

@theoxiiii The 5970 may not be the fastest card, but compared to the 6990 it has a higher texel rate, and can handle FSAA and higher resolutions better. Same goes for the 590.
