@zwareshag Don't forget that the chemicals used are very similar to those used for many medicines that you take for granted. In my country I see campaigns that say "made using battery acid and bleach". I'm not disputing that the meth labs shown are dirty but it's also propaganda; associating household items with something potentially dangerous. I imagine that using correct glassware and properly purified precursors you could get high quality meth.
