i don't get the part about touching your shoulder blades. if i try to touch my shoulderblades, i have to go far back enough that my head touches the ground. is that really how far you need to go? or is it enough that your lower back is flat on the ground? thanks!

@bbsloveme thank you i did them this morning while lightly placing my hand on my neck. did not hurt at all

@mjjcng8958 ok. then try to keep your head straight with your back and use just your core. i know its a natural reaction to strain your head forward because your body will follow, but you cant use your neck to do your core workout. and by using just your core, youll limit the pain and maximize your results.

@mjjcng8958 because youre straining your neck forward to pull your body up. a way to fix this is to tuck your chin into your chest. while it may not be the proper way to do a sit up, it'll stop your neck from hurting.
