@FigmentsFan I was asking whether or not the WDW PPM is still in operation because the track still works with current safety safety standards.

@Costerguy1234556 They work off of a different system than the DL PM. The DL version used tires at different intervals to propel the vehicles. As for vehicles and track being wider, I don't know what exactly the question is there.

@FigmentsFan I'm curious what about the WDW PPM? Tracks are wider and vehicles seem to be bigger too.

@zac613 That could work, but you'd need to keep in mind that Imagineers have to deal with changing the track again, unless they want to grandfather the systems from Rocket Rods. Which would be incredibly hard to do. There's a multitude of issues, and with the OSHA Safety Regulations in place, as announced, it couldn't work.

@FigmentsFan i know lol. but what i meant was that if peoplemover is coming back. put the elvator back and make it stop at the peoplemover station for the disabled people .

@zac613 Because they're supplanted the Astro Jets with the current incarnation at the front of Tomorrowland. They use the mechanisms for the Astro Jets for the Observatron.

if they r gonna bring this ride back. then bring back the orginal outfit the CM had to where. for the men it was a half yellow half blue shirt and tight yellow pants. for the women it was a half yellow half blue dress. i've heard from an ex female CM say that u could tell what religion the male CM who worked this ride. as in the pants were so tight u could tell if he was cut or not. lol. BRING BACK THE PEOPLEMOVER!!!!!!

@FigmentsFan why don't they put back the elevator that use to go up to the astro jet ride that use to be on top of the people movers. only this time just having it go up to the people maovers station and then just widen the emergancy ramps to where it passes the code.

@Benstudio13 I get it, the ramp catwalk is too narow for safe emergency escape, the reason the PM at Walt Disney World is still going because they have wider ramp, they have wider catwalks and fences on both side of the tracks, and they haven't temper with it for Rocket rods. |
