@SunnyGirlFlorida Yes, but if you compare 50's Rock to today's there's a pretty big difference, even with the changing times and what we as a society consider acceptable, there's a big difference. Let's say cursing was extreme back then for music, which it kinda was... today's music almost revolves around it and is just accepted, whether it's one or every other word. Listen to Rap in the early 90's compared to now and it's beautiful compared to the revolting garbage today.

@Dessolution1 Do I have to specify every single band that came into existence in the past 50 years just to keep you idiots content? Yes there are some bands that write good music that isn't solely about sex, drug, and money, but the majority of bands are sell outs. I don't complain about the poor quality of today's music, I just don't listen to the crap but every now and again I have to inform the slower listeners. I'm pretty sure I said that in a past comment to someone just as arrogant as you.

@TheSkittles1001 Couldn't someone have made the exact same argument in the 50's when Rock 'N' Roll came into existence?

When I first heard Fuel, I thought they were going to be HUGE. WTF happened?
Dessolution1 (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
@TheSkittles1001 lol you're one of those types that complain about how great the music was back in the day, or the past or whatever. Fact of the matter is, regardless of how many people who make music for the sake of money, there are plenty more who make music for the sake of music. And the pay check helps.

@jparish0810 Unfortunately it will be without Brett...

after seeing them sing this at a music festival in the rain, i was hooked on Fuel.

I think we should get all these REAL bands and have them perform one day for free to promote what REAL music should be about and not this bullshit people are listening to these days, it's sad to see that music has fallen so low these days
